ModusPad brings back a full-screen app grid with pages, folders and search on macOS 26 Tahoe and 27 Golden Gate. It can import your old Launchpad layout, hide apps, sort the grid, make smart folders, and back up layouts. Its main feature is profiles: each profile has its own launcher layout, opens chosen apps and runs shortcuts, and can switch automatically when a Focus turns on, a display connects, or the clock says so.
The page sells a licence as a one-time payment with lifetime updates and no subscription: $10.99 for 1 Mac, $16.99 for 2 Macs or $27.99 for 5 Macs. There is a 14-day free trial, a 14-day money-back guarantee, and no account is needed. After the trial the app keeps working with some limits. A Product Hunt code on the page expired on October 13 and is not counted here. Checkout is by Polar, in US dollars with tax added where it applies.
